A large West Country Aerospace Manufacturer has been a customer of Tone Images since our business was established in 1986.
The ongoing requirement is to manage large volumes of archive files, build records, data sheets, procurement documentation, personnel records and all types of documentation used by this very large organisation. The task involves removal from the site, collating, repairing and destapling before transferring to a mixture of microfilm, microfiche, and digital scanning.
These Company sensitive records are processed by experienced and vetted staff at Tone Images who are signatories to the Official Secrets Act. Records are either securely destroyed (and a Certificate of Destruction supplied by Tone Images) or retained in deep storage at the TI facility.
As technology has advanced and the relationship between the two companies has developed more departments within this Aerospace organisation utilises Tone Images for microfilm, microfiche and lately digital scanning and archival storage services.
